AOP LIFEPACSWe are pleased to announce that we now carry Alpha Omega products!  Though we are not big users of textbook-based curriculum, we realize that every family has seasons when they need to turn to more traditional workbook-style programs for one reason or another.  We have used a variety of Alpha Omega's products over the years and found them to be solid, well-written, courses that lay a strong foundation in every subject area.  

I'm going to assume that most of you reading this is somewhat familiar with Alpha Omega publishing and not take the space to go into great detail regarding every product!  You can always access their website for more detailed information: www.aop.com

LifePac Curriculum Grades K - 12
There are 5 core subjects offered for each grade level (1 - 12) - Bible, Language Arts, Math, History/Geography and Science.  Kindgarten has two core subjects: language arts and math.

Each subject includes a Teacher's Manual and 10 individual booklets - LIFEPACS.  Each LIFEPAC includes several self-tests to monitor progress and a final test the student takes before moving to the next book. 

The LIFEPAC program uses a mastery approach to learning, reviewing often.  They are colorful and I have found them to be void of much of the "busy work" found in other workbook-based programs.

We carry all core subjects for grades K - 12 as well as Electives.
Kindergarten LifePacs Complete
 Language Arts This entry-level program introduces to the wonders of reading through intensive phonics drills. Sounds, letters, and words come to life as the student practices these essential skills that unlock the secrets of consonants, vowels, and blending. Not only will students develop language mastery, they will be prepared for Alpha Omega's Lifepac Grade 1 curriculum. Set includes the two student books and a Teacher's Guide.

Math
Lifepac Kindergarten Math lays a strong foundation in mathematics by explaining the principles of numbers in an exciting format. Your students will learn and explore everything from subtraction, addition, and number recognition to directions and values. Plus, a wide variety of activities instill these principles and skills into yuor students, allowing them to master the skills of mathematics, while preparing them for Alpha Omega's Lifepac Grade 1 curriculum.
