History: Grades K - 12
Through The Ages
Author: Christine Miller
Publisher: Nothing New Press

I confess, I LOVE history and we enjoy studying history using great books whenever possible.  I've heard of Christine Miller's book several times over the years, but thought I could manage just fine using my library, catalogs from trusted homeschool suppliers, etc.  After reviewing All Through the Ages - History through Literature Guide, I can honestly say I wish I would have purchased this resource a long time ago!  It would have saved me so much time and, I believe, made our study of history more meaningful.

As I opened The Nature Study Idea Book, I found myself encouraged and refreshed!  I am constantly looking for books that will help me teach a subject to my children naturally. I want a relationship to grow between the subjects they study and their life. This book definitely shows us how to accomplish this goal.

Games:  All ages
The Journey's of Paul
Publisher:  Prismatech
For more information or to order:  www.cactusgamedesign.com

When my children saw this game on display at a homeschool convention they immediately came running to me saying, "Come and look at this cool game!"  Imagine their delight when the developers of the game provided us with a copy to review!  The first thing that drew my family to The Journey's of Paul was the playing surface -- a large, full-color map depicting the Roman Empire in 60 AD.
